CARO RENTAL PROPANE GIVEAWAY
1. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins when the online entry form is made available and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026. Entries received after the deadline are not eligible.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal Michigan residents age 18 or older whose primary residence is in Huron, Sanilac or Tuscola county and who can personally claim a prize at The Advertiser newsroom, 344 N. State St., Caro, MI 48723. Employees of WIDL 92.1 FM, WKYO 1360 AM, The Advertiser, Caro Rental and affiliated companies, plus members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible.
3. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase the chance of winning. Enter online through the official giveaway form on classicrocki92.com or wkyoam.com. One entry per person for the entire giveaway. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, incomplete or otherwise improper entries may be removed or disqualified.
4. Prizes
Six prizes will be awarded. Each prize is one free refill of a 20-pound propane tank from Caro Rental. Six different winners will be selected. Approximate retail value is $25 per prize and $150 total. The tank itself is not included. Caro Rental's normal propane filling, legal and safety requirements apply, and Caro Rental may decline to fill a cylinder that does not meet those requirements. Prizes may not be redeemed through the Sponsor for cash.
5. Winner Selection
Six winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received through both station websites. The drawing is expected to take place on or about Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026. Once selected, a winner is removed from subsequent drawings. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be contacted using the phone number and/or email address submitted with the entry. A potential winner must respond within 48 hours of the first notification attempt. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, is ineligible, declines the prize or does not comply with these rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Prize Pickup
Prizes will not be mailed or shipped. Winners must personally claim their prize at The Advertiser newsroom, 344 N. State St., Caro, MI 48723, during normal newsroom business hours and within 10 calendar days after notification unless other arrangements are approved by the Sponsor. Winners may be required to show government-issued photo identification verifying age and Michigan residency. Prizes must be redeemed by Dec. 31, 2026, unless otherwise authorized by the Sponsor or Caro Rental.
8. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for WIDL 92.1 FM, WKYO 1360 AM, The Advertiser and Caro Rental to announce or publish the winner's name and hometown and to use the winner's name, photograph or likeness in connection with promotion of the giveaway without additional compensation.
9. Privacy
Information submitted through the entry form will be used to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact potential winners and maintain contest records. Entry does not automatically enroll an entrant in promotional email or text-message lists.
10. Technical Problems and Conduct
The Sponsor is not responsible for entries lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or not received because of technical failures or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Entrants may be disqualified for tampering with the entry process, circumventing the one-entry limit, providing false information or otherwise violating these rules.
11. Changes or Cancellation
The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical problems or circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control prevent the giveaway from being conducted fairly or as intended. Material changes will be disclosed as required.
12. Release
By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the Sponsor's decisions regarding administration of the giveaway. By accepting a prize, each winner releases the Sponsor, participating stations, The Advertiser and Caro Rental, and their respective employees and representatives, from claims arising from participation or acceptance and use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.
